# Sign up

> Create a Caratuva account with your email — no invite, no waitlist.

Caratuva is self-service. Anyone can create an account with a work email and
start building in test mode immediately. There is no waitlist and no invite code.

## How it works

1. Go to [dashboard.caratuva.com](https://dashboard.caratuva.com) and enter your work email.
2. We email you a magic link — no password to set or manage. The link expires in 15 minutes.
3. Click the link. Your account is created on that click, and you land signed in,
   in **test mode**.

That's it. The first person to sign up for an organization becomes its **admin**.
(Inviting additional teammates is not yet self-service in the dashboard — contact
support if you need more users on your organization.)

  Your account is materialized when you **click** the magic link, not when you
  request it. A mistyped or never-clicked email never creates an account. Whether
  or not an email already has an account, the response is identical and a link is
  sent — we don't reveal which addresses are registered.

## What you can do right away

The moment you're in, you're in test mode and can run the entire flow end-to-end:

* Complete onboarding (KYB auto-approves in test).
* Configure a payout destination.
* Create an invoice and pay it through the buyer payment link.
* Receive lifecycle webhooks.

No real money moves and nothing waits on compliance. See

## Going live

When you're ready to move real money, you go live in two steps. First, from the
dashboard's **Enable production** page, submit a **Production Access Request** (legal
name, CNPJ, business contact email, expected monthly volume, corridors) and wait for
Caratuva to approve it — this is what unlocks the **Live** option in the mode switcher.
Then switch to Live and complete live KYB on the Payout page before you can transact.

## Signing in again

Sign-in uses the same email magic link every time — there's no password. Sessions
last 12 hours. You can sign out from the button in the dashboard header.
