This guide walks through the fastest path to sending your first payment link with Get paid.

What you’ll need

  • A working email address, or a Google account, or a device that supports passkeys.
  • An ID document (individual) or your company’s basic registration details (business).
  • A Pix key for the bank account you want to get paid into.
  • A buyer to invoice — a real one, or your own email if you’re just trying it out.

1. Create your account

Go to getpaid.caratuva.com and sign in with whichever you prefer:
  • Magic link — enter your email, click the link we send you. No password to manage.
  • Google — sign in with an existing Google account.
  • Passkey — use your device’s built-in biometrics or security key.
Your account is created the moment you complete sign-in for the first time.

2. Verify your identity

Before you can receive a real payout, you complete a short verification:
  1. Choose individual or business. Individual (KYC) if you’re invoicing as yourself; business (KYB) if you’re invoicing as a registered company.
  2. Accept our settlement partner’s terms of service. This is a one-click redirect to the partner’s hosted page and back — required before verification can proceed.
  3. Submit your details. An individual provides ID and basic personal details; a business provides its registration details, address, and beneficial owners.
You can browse the app immediately, but sending a real payment link requires this step to clear.

3. Add your Pix key

Register the Pix key for the Brazilian bank account you want to get paid into. We auto-detect the key type — CPF, CNPJ, email, phone, or random (EVP) key. It must be in the same name as your verified identity. Create an invoice with your buyer’s details, the amount, and a due date. Get paid generates a payment link — send it however you like (email, WhatsApp, your own channel). Your buyer opens the link, pays by bank transfer, and once their payment clears you receive the BRL amount via Pix. Details: Create an invoice.

5. Track the payment

Watch the invoice move from sent, to paid by the buyer, to paid out to your Pix key. See Tracking payments.
